NUTRITION IN CHILDREN.

Nutrition plays a vital role in the human body, both adults and children. It helps in the formation of body tissues and boosts ones immune system.
Children are most vulnerable and need the right amount of nutrients to be able to  grow healthy and stronger  to enable them resist diseases.
Nutrition can be explained as the substances that we take into the body as food and the way they influence our health, hence, nutrients are any substances which plants or animals need in order to live and grow. Experts say that the nutrients children take in at the early stages of their lives goes a long way to affect their cognitive abilities and general wellbeing.
There is an alarming number of children who are malnourished and as a result, are suffering from various deficiencies. Below are some food nutrients that are vital and must be added to children's diets.
      Proteins, Minerals and Vitamins, Carbohydrates, Fats and oil, and above all, Water. These nutrients when included in the child's diet in their right proportion, helps secure a strong and healthy body of children.
